We are a small team with a focused mission: give every patient the time, the clarity, and the technology to choose the right procedure for their unique eyes. You learn modern ophthalmology. SuraVision runs current diagnostic and surgical technology, including femtosecond laser platforms and the Light Adjustable Lens, one of the newest lens technologies available. Team members are trained on equipment many larger clinics have not adopted yet.

Roles We Hire For
We are a growing practice, and we are always interested in meeting the right people, even when a role is not formally posted.
Ophthalmic Technician
Patient work-ups, refractions, diagnostics (topography, biometry, OCT), assisting with laser and surgical days, and patient education support. COA or COT certification is a plus. Experienced technicians from other practices are always welcome to introduce themselves, and we also consider motivated candidates from adjacent clinical backgrounds who want to train into the role.
First Impressions Coordinator
The first voice and first face of the practice. Scheduling, insurance verification, financing conversations, and making sure every patient feels taken care of from the first call.
Surgical Counselor
The guide at the center of every patient decision. Surgical counselors walk patients from their first questions through consultation and on to a confident surgery decision, explaining options, costs, and financing in plain language and following up so no one falls through the cracks. Great fits come from patient-facing roles in healthcare, hospitality, or consultative client work.

Small teams create fast growth. Technicians cross-train across refractive and cataract diagnostics, coordinators develop real depth in patient finance and surgical scheduling, and surgical counselors build genuine expertise in how patients make care decisions. If pursuing certification such as COA or COT is on your roadmap, bring it up: we are open to building support for it together.

Do I need certification to apply for the ophthalmic technician role?
Certification such as COA or COT is a plus and is reflected in pay, but it is not always required. Experienced technicians and motivated candidates from adjacent clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
