What the $5,000 Per Eye Covers
The price is all inclusive. It covers your full diagnostic workup before surgery, the EVO ICL lens itself including the toric version for astigmatism, the procedure, and your follow up visits.
There is no separate charge for astigmatism correction, no charge tied to how strong your prescription is, and no facility fee added later. You get your complete price in writing at your consultation before you decide anything.

Cost and Insurance
The EVO ICL is an elective procedure, so health insurance and vision plans do not cover it. That is true across the board, not just here.
What you can do is use pre tax money. If you have a Health Savings Account or a Flexible Spending Account through your employer, the EVO ICL is an eligible expense, and paying with those funds lowers what the procedure costs you after tax. When you call around, you will hear a wide range of numbers, and they are often not describing the same thing. A quoted price may or may not include the pre operative testing, the toric lens if you have astigmatism, or the follow up visits. Some quotes are per eye and some are for both, which is easy to miss.

It uses an implanted lens made for your eye rather than reshaping the cornea with a laser, and the lens itself is a significant part of the cost.
For many people the choice is not really about price, because the two procedures suit different eyes. SuraVision typically treats nearsightedness up to about -8.00 D with LASIK. The EVO ICL is FDA approved for nearsightedness from -3.00 up to -20.00 diopters, including astigmatism with the toric version. It is also often the option for people with thin corneas or dry eyes.
