What the trip from Katy actually involves
SuraVision is at 2601 Westheimer Rd in Houston. From most of Katy that is about 30 to 40 minutes by car on I-10 or the Westpark Tollway, depending on traffic.
Here is the good news: LASIK does not require many trips. For most patients the full process is three visits.

Will your eyes qualify?
Most healthy adults with stable vision are good candidates, but not everyone is. You are likely a candidate if:
- You are at least 18, and your prescription has been stable for about a year
- Your corneas are thick enough for treatment
- Your eyes are healthy, with no conditions like keratoconus or uncontrolled dry eye
- Your prescription is in range. At SuraVision, we typically treat nearsightedness up to about -8.00 diopters. LASIK also treats astigmatism.
